Joe Meadors
84, of Farmington died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004, at Washington Regional Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 14, 1919, at Bidville, to Claude and Lillie Parker Meadors.
He was a retired field man for Georges Inc., and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include five sons, Eugene Meadors of Winslow, Fred Meadors of Farmington, Edd Meadors of Ventura, Calif., Roy Meadors of Farmington, and Roger Meadors of West Fork; five daughters, Josephine McGaugh of West Fork, Shannon Meadors of Pompano Beach, Fla., Winnie Carmean of Springdale, Peggy Comley of Centeron and Laura Price of Elm Springs; three sisters, Indianola Williams of Fayetteville, Geneva Perry of Fayetteville and Josephine Tomlinson of Winslow; 30 grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Kenney Cemetery near Winslow with the Rev. Loyd Johnston officiating. Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at Moore?s Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Fred Meadors, Roy Meadors, Robin Fields, Brady Meadors, Eddie Carmean and Tyler Greenhaw.
