Research Notes
Ada June Phillips, of Harrison, passed from this life on Sunday, November 30, 2014. She was 83 years old.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service is Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Eagle Heights Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. Bro. Glenn Crenshaw will officiate.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Farmington Cemetery, in Farmington, AR, at 11:00 a.m. Pallbearers are Cory Kichline, Trent Baldridge, Tyler Morrow, Dustin Stewart, Mark Reed, and Dallas Morrow. Honorary pallbearers include the Joy Sunday School Class of Eagle Heights Baptist Church and the Levi Retirees.
The daughter of Winfield and Ila Mae (Blew) Holland was born on May 30, 1931 in Wheeler, AR.
Ada had been a member of the Eagle Heights Baptist Church since 1971. She enjoyed helping and reaching out to people. Ada also enjoyed crocheting.
Her parents; two brothers, Donnie and Charles Holland; and three sisters, Maxine Kell, Virginia Lee Worley, and Verna Mae Keener preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Loren Ray Phillips, of the home; one son and his wife, Danny and Susie Stewart, of Farmington; two daughters and their husbands, Sondra and Neil Smith, of Fayetteville, and Sharon and Mark Reed, of Harrison; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters and their husbands, Anne and Harold Smith, of Prairie Grove, AR and Carolyn and Wayne McDonald, of Lincoln, AR.
