Lora Lee Karnes Bell, died at the age of 79, in Huntsville, Alabama, April 19, 2012. Lora was born September 27, 1932 in West Fork, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Iris Lucretia Davis Karnes, and her brother, Donald Karnes. Lora is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Thomas Bell, Sr. (Jim), their children, Sue Lee Bell Charles of Huntsville, Alabama, James Thomas Bell, Jr. (Jimmy) and wife, Brenda of New Albany, Indiana, William Barnes Bell (Bill) and wife, Melissa of Independence, Missouri, eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Lora Bell was an active member of Pleasant Springs Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama, a former member of the Prairie Grove Christian Church in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, member of the Order of Amaranth, Order of Eastern Star, and the Federated Women’s Club. Donations may be made to the donor’s choice for cancer research. The funeral service will be held Monday, April 23, 2012 – 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home, Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be Prairie Grove Cemetery, but there will be no graveside service.
