Hembree, 75, of Oklahoma City, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2002 due to complications of heart surgery. Sam was born September 24, 19 Stilwell, OK. He served our country proudly during WWII. and retired fr Southwestern Bell after 37 years of service. Sam was a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church for many years. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Carlotta Hembree and daughter, Karen. He is survived by his wife Betty, daughter Kelly and h husband Don Willis; daughter Kim and her husband Steve Turechek; grandchildren Geoffrey and Andrew Willis, and Amy and Amanda Turechek; brothers Watie, Monroe, Ivan, of Stilwell, OK and brothers Dan and Alfr of Westville, OK; sisters Alyene of Sallisaw, OK, Marie of Prairie Grov AR, brother Vernon of Hobbs, NM. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association or National Parkinson's Disease Association.
