THE EDMISTON’S OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS

(8) JOHN THOMSON EDMISTON, (Moses Jamee,2 etc.), was born 14 May 1799 in Tennessee.; died 1846 in Washington Co., Ark.; married 15 Nov. l821 to Rebecca Moore, Who was born 1802., in Georgia. She was listed in the l8SO census but not later.
He was a Justice of the Peace in 1837. They sold 40 acres of land. To John Scurlock in March 1839 and bought 120 acres from Audrey James Maxwell in Dec. l839.
All their children were born in Arkansas.
