Doris Jean Omohundro, age 89, of West Fork, died Thursday, March 15, 2018. She was born September 29, 1928 in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of James E. and Margaret Hanson Brown. She was preceded in death by her husband Elmo Omohundro and a son, Robert Omohundro. She was retired from the University of Arkansas. She is survived by four children, Thomas Omohundro and his wife Betty of West Fork, Margaret Ball of Farmington, Bonnie Raymo and her husband Marvin of West Fork and Roy Omohundro of Fayetteville; a daughter-in-law, Maria Omohundro of Vineland, New Jersey; a sister, Martha Jarvis of Spokane, Washington; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held 1 p.m.-2 p.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at Moore's Chapel followed by a funeral service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Baptist Ford Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
