Esther Naomi Harvey Sims, 88, of Prairie Grove, Ark., went to be with the Lord on Dec. 29, 2016. She was born July 23, 1928, at Winslow, Ark., to Dick and Rosie Chance Harvey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Monroe Sims, parents; brothers, Ruben, Burl and Ralph Harvey; sisters, Maggie Yerton and Florella Yerton. Survivors include sons, Wayne and wife, Linda Sims; Larry and wife, Pam Sims – Wayne survived his mother by only four hours – brother, Kenneth Harvey; sisters; Lona Carney and Norma Holland. Grandchildren; Kellie, Kirk and Mike. Great-grandchildren; Evan, Meaghan, Dustin, Haylee, Porter and Cole. Great-great-grandchildren; Asher and Lily. A celebration of her and her son's, Wayne, lives will be Sunday, Jan. 8 from 1-4 at the Savoy Community Building. A drop-in with finger foods provided.
