Thomas (Tom) Simco, 78 years old, prominent merchant and farmer of Mountainburg, Arkansas, died Thursday, February 29, 1968 in a local hospital. Born October 17, 1889 at Mountainburg, Arkansas, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Simco and member of the Mountainburg Presbyterian church. Survivors are his wife, Iva; five sons; a daughter, Alma; a sister, Allie and 13 grandchildren. The body was taken to Presbyterian church at Mountainburg, Arkansas to lie in state for an hour before the funeral service which began at 2 p.m. Saturday. The pastor, William Vincent, was the officiating minister. Burial in Conley cemetery was directed by Ocker Funeral Home.
