He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Rogers & two sons, Larry Joe Rogers & Al Rogers. He was a carpenter foreman at the University of Arkansas, retiring after 33 years. He was a member of the Center Street Church of Christ where he served as a deacon for 38 years. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II.
