Henry Clay Rankin

Henry married Sarah Frances Lamb on August 24, 1884 in Davis county, Iowa. The first five years of their married life were spent in western Kansas. Returning to Davis county, they lived there twenty years. In 1909, they came to Big Horn valley and bought a relinquishment to a homestead, proving up on the irrigated farm two miles southwest of Hardin. After residing there seventeen years, they sold out and moved to Oregon in the spring of 1926. They resided six years near Portland. They then moved to Sutherlin and later to Roseburg, Oregon.
