Elizabeth J. Hunter 90, a resident of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born April 6, 1935 in Fayetteville , Arkansas, the daughter of Fred and Josephine Madeline (Conduff) Keen. Jean left high school to work and help support her family. After a few years, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas, and earned her GED. She then went to beauty college and got her license as a beautician. Jean was a good beautician with a large clientele and owned two beauty salons during her 39-year career. She enjoyed gardening, reading, studying her Bible, and taking care of her beloved cat, Murphy. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62yrs. Clarence Gilbert Hunter; her parents, two brother, Elmer Keen and Junior Keen; two sisters, Mary Adams and Ruth Ann West. She is survived by three sons, Steven Hunter and wife Aimee, Michael Hunter and wife Wendy, and Bryan Hunter and wife Leslie; one brother, Ronnie Keen and wife Joye; six grandchildren, Matt Hunter, Jaime Hunter, Keith Hunter, Kevin Hunter, Weston Hunter, and Annabeth Fraim; six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 10, 2026, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM prior to the service. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Piney Cemetery in Westville, Oklahoma.
