Cecil Dale Collins, 75, of Westville, Oklahoma, passed away at his home on Friday, January 30, 2026. He was born on June 15, 1950, in Westville, Oklahoma, to Cecil Lee Collins and Clarice Margaret (Gerber) Collins. Cecil proudly served his country in the United States Army. He entered basic training in 1969 and completed infantry training in South Carolina in 1970, before serving during the Vietnam Conflict. He returned home in August of 1971. Following his military service, Cecil spent much of his working life in construction, where he was known for his skill and dedication to building pole barns. He was a hardworking man who took pride in an honest day's work. In his free time, Cecil enjoyed fishing and had a deep love for gardening, spending countless hours tending to his plants and being outdoors, Cecil Dale Collins will be missed and remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was preceded in death by his parents; Cecil Lee Collins, and Clarice Margaret (Gerber) Collins; brothers, Lee Herman Collins, Eldon Dwayne Collins, Tommy Gene Collins, and William Dean Collins; sisters, Debbie Joyce Collins, Labecca Alice January, Vickie Darlene Hubbard. He is survived by one daughter, Angela Coillot, of Anderson, Missouri; two granddaughters, Allysa Coillot, and Breanna Coillot, all of Anderson, Missouri; four sisters, Eva Hankins (Danny Copeland), of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Bonnie Sue Ryan of Jay, Oklahoma, Margaret Underhill of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Mary Adams of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; lifelong friends, Cleve Alberty, of Westville, Oklahoma, Ronnie Alberty of Peavine, Oklahoma, and Jackie Smith of Westville, Oklahoma; long time friends, Travis Walker of Westville, Oklahoma, and Dale Snyder of Westville, Oklahoma; numerous other friends, whom will miss him dearly. A graveside service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026, at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery in Westville, Oklahoma. Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas
