Aneta Marie Osburn, 88, of Wesley; passed away peacefully, with her family at her side, on Friday, February 6, 2026. She was born September 14, 1937, at Bidville; to John Ira and Mary Aneta married James Columbus Osburn on August 24, 1955, and together they raised three children. She was devoted to Jesus and a faithful member of Mt. Salem Full Gospel Church. She also loved attending many other churches in the area. Aneta found great joy in life on the farm and cherished being outdoors. Some of her happiest moments were spent with her grandchildren, especially taking them to the creek and the river. Aneta was preceded in death by her husband, James Osburn; one son, Jim Osburn; her parents, John and Mary Drummond; three brothers, Jerry Drummond, Curtis Drummond and Pete Drummond; and two sisters, Brenda Durell and Sue Bates. She is survived by one son and two daughters-in-law, Randy and Kayle Osburn, of Elkins; and Karen Osburn, of Wesley; one daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and AJ Jones, of Elkins; and a bonus daughter, Mona Coyle, of Prairie Grove. Six grandchildren, David Osburn, Misty Enderland, Dustin Yerton, Rachel Malloy, Nikki Shadrick, and Colton Osburn; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Kathleen Hughes, of Elkins; and Judy and Rob Lawhorn, of Wesley. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, February 13, 2026, at Wesley Cemetery with Johnny Case and Ray Shackelford officiating. Pallbearers will be David Osburn, Dustin Yerton, Colton Osburn, Kenny Enderland, David Drummond, and Jeff Durell. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Shadrick and Matt Malloy. Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
