Research Notes
The son of Jess and Eva Evans Osburn, he was a farmer and a member of Brannon Mountain Community Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Fern Lorraine Osburn, in 2004 and one daughter, Linda Dobbs.
Survivors include two sons Roger Dewayne Osburn of Edison N.J. Daniel Alan Osburn of Brannon Mountain; Four brothers, Walter Osburn and Lloyd Lee "Sonny" Osburn both of Brannon Mountain, Carl Osburn of Kansas and James Osburn of Elkins; Five sisters, Bernice Isley, Velma Baker,Rema Moore, Willadean Drummond and Peggy Drummond all of Elkins; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren
