Juanita Janette Rankin, age 85, of Morrilton, Arkansas, passed away October 30, 2016. She was born October 10, 1931 in Cleveland, Arkansas, a daughter of George Stracner and Della Summer Stracner. She was the widow of James Rankin, house wife, and of the Assembly of God faith.

She is survived by her son, Barton Edwin Rankin and wife Sandra of Morrilton; daughter, Kimberly Richardson and husband Greg of Morrilton; brothers, Lewis Stracner and wife Barbara Sue of Morrilton, Dale Stracner and wife Judy of Cleveland, and Burvil Stracner of Horseshoe Bend; grandson, Christopher Boren and wife Carrie of Atkins; granddaughter, Hannah Richardson of Sherwood; great grandchildren, Bailey and Brooklyn Boren of Atkins, and Phoebe Richardson of Sherwood. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Norma Edwards Johnston and Dorothy Franklin; and brother, Calvin Stracner.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m Wednesday, November 2nd at Harris Chapel with Pastor David Overstreet and Pastor Michael McNeely officiating. Burial will be at Roberstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
