Obituary

Sue Pergeson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 13th, 2024, at the age of 77. She was born on March 29th, 1947, to loving parents who instilled in her the values of compassion, hard work, and devotion to family.

Sue married the love of her life, Donald, on July 2nd, 1964, and together they shared a remarkable journey spanning six decades. Their marriage was a testament to love, commitment, and unwavering support. Donald's passing before her was a devastating loss for Sue, and now they are reunited in eternal peace.

Throughout her life, Sue took great pride in her work as a homemaker, dedicating herself to creating a warm and loving home for her family. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her own household, as she selflessly volunteered at the First Assembly of God Church, where she found immense joy in serving others.

Sue's legacy lives on through her children, Donnell West and her husband Whitney of Lincoln, and Tommy Pergeson and his wife Rhonda of Prairie Grove, grandchildren, Teah Bidwell and husband John of Bella Vista, Bailey Bozarth and husband Cody of West Fork, Ethen West and his wife Sarah of Lincoln, Andrew West of Lincoln, and Jordan Pergeson of Oklahoma, were the light of her life. She cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Sue's greatest joy came from being a great-grandmother to Oaklee, Braelyn, and Lathan Bozarth, as well as Aubree and Aiden West. She showered them with affection, teaching them valuable life lessons and creating a bond that will forever be cherished. She is also survived by three sisters Bobby Rymel, Ina Jo Wilhite and Jimmie Curtis.

Sue was preceded in death by her beloved husband, parents Ezekiel and Georgia Irene Rose, and three brothers Tommy, Johnnie and Bud Rose.

Sue Pergeson will be remembered as a woman of unwavering faith, a pillar of strength, and a beacon of love. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to have known her. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 - 10:00 A.M. at the First Assembly of God Church in Lincoln, Arkansas, to celebrate Sue's life and honor her memory.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the church or a charity of your choice in Sue's name.

Sue was the absolute sweetest lady I had the pleasure of knowing . She always had a smile on her face when I seen her. She will truly be missed. Donnell and Tommy, y’all are in my thoughts and prayers along with your families. May God give you peace and comfort.

Sue was my rock when my daughter, Teah, (her granddaughter) was little. She guided me through many emotions and was always there when I needed her. I’ve watched her accept Teah and be there for her for 40 years. Sue was the anchor in her family and in my heart. I know she is rejoicing in heaven and I can’t wait to see her again. She will be missed greatly by many.

I'm so, so sorry for the loss of Sue from this earth!! She will be sorely missed here but rejoicing in heaven. She was a truly amazing woman of God. I always admired her and the joy she had was contagious. She spread light and blessings everywhere she went. Until we meet again...
