Clara Mae Hunton Self
Age 70, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born July 27, 1953 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of William Dalton and Sarah "Hannah" (Johnson) Hunton.
Clara retired from the Springdale School System after 20 plus years.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years Mark Self; one daughter Renee Self and her husband Jason Burge; one brother Thomas Hunton and his wife Jean; one sister Lillie Smith and her husband Cal; one niece Amanda Smith; one brother-in-law Russell Self and his wife Mary Umbaugh and various other family members.
The family will receive friends Thursday, November 9, 2023, 6:00-7:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, November 10th, 2023, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Bluff Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas, there will be no graveside service held.
