Clara Frances Poole, age 96, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2017.
She was born on March 3, 1921, in Umbarger, Texas, to Bernard Joseph and Clara (Friemel) Hess.
Clara was a prolific talker and a lover of coffee. She was always trying to feed people who came to her home and always loved a good conversation.
She was a life-long member of Highland Community Church.
She was a long-time employee of Ramey Jr. High School in Fayetteville where she forged many friendships. Above all else, she loved and cherished her family most of all.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Dee Poole; her two sons, Arlen Dee Poole, and Gary Lee Poole; and numerous siblings.
She is survived by three children, Judy Rowe (and husband, Dean) of Prairie Grove, Jenny Green (and husband, Charles) of Fayetteville, and Hal Poole (and wife, Wendy J.) of Fayetteville; one daughter-in-law, Janet Poole; nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00 p.m., Monday, June 12, 2017, at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Moore's Chapel Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Fayetteville.
