Cyndy Jill Binder, 70, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 27, 2026, with her beloved husband, Allen, by her side.
Cyndy was born on March 21, 1956, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and had a quiet upbringing there. She later moved to Little Rock with her first husband and became the mother of two daughters, Jill and Cassie. Some of her happiest moments were the tea parties she hosted for them. She was a devoted homemaker with an eye for treasures. She worked in her mother's antique store before opening her own shop, Jingles.
Cyndy loved animals all her life. In her mid-thirties she became a docent and troop leader at the Little Rock Zoo, where she shared that love with everyone around her. She later found great fulfillment working at a veterinary clinic in Maumelle. In June 1999 she married Allen, and her family grew to include her stepdaughter, Lauren, and her stepsons, Russ and Zach. The couple soon settled in Prairie Grove, and Cyndy worked at Heritage Land Title in Fayetteville until she retired.
Among Cyndy's greatest blessings were her eight grandchildren: Kameron, Hunter, Mya, Audrey, Felix, Kaitlyn, Ethan and Allee. She treasured each of them and delighted in who they were becoming. They were a constant source of pride and joy in her life. The love she poured into them will carry her gentle spirit forward for years to come.
Cyndy was a woman of quiet strength and deep kindness. She was a faithful Christian whose values guided every part of her life. She stood up for human rights and animal welfare, and her convictions ran deep even when her voice was soft. Everyone who knew her felt her care in the gentle, steady way she moved through the world. Her grace and compassion live on in all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marilee Nelson and Robert Frans, and her brother, Doug Frans.
Cyndy is survived by her husband of 27 years, Allen Binder, of Prairie Grove; her daughters, Jill Rosewood-Evans (Matt) of Edmond, Oklahoma, and Cassie Clark (Kasey) of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; her stepchildren, Lauren Ferguson (Travis) of Centerton, Arkansas, and Russ Binder and Zach Binder of Gentry, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Audrey Staggs of Norman, Oklahoma; Felix Staggs of Edmond, Oklahoma; Kameron Clark of Hancock, Michigan; Hunter Clark of Nashville, Tennessee; Mya Clark of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; Kaitlyn Ferguson of Bentonville, Arkansas; and Ethan Ferguson and Allee Ferguson of Centerton, Arkansas; and her sibling, Cathy Hall (Ben), both of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
A memorial service celebrating Cyndy's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Friends of Prairie Grove Pound, a cause close to her heart.
She will be dearly missed.
