Daisy Mae Jones

71 a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away March 18, 2010 at her home in Farmington, Arkansas. She was born May 23, 1938 in Odell, Arkansas, the daughter of Pete and Bessie Young Workman.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, one brother, Floyd Workman and one son, Stephen Jones.

Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Ken and Beth Jones of Sheridan, Wyoming; one daughter and son in law, Ladena and Russ Workman of Lincoln, Arkansas; one brother, Wayne Workman of Liberty Hill, Arkansas; one sister, Elizabeth Long of Cane Hill, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Scott Sexton, Deanna Allen, Steven Sexton, Andrea Barnett, Aimey Jones and Kara Jones; six great grandchildren, Devin, Colton, Payton, Blake, Kendall and Hudson.

Family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 22, 2010 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with Preston Beeks officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Hill Cemetery in Natural Dam, Arkansas.

Daisy was a lovely lady and I enjoyed knowing her. She was a wonderful employee at Kearney (where I was in Human Resources). She almost never missed work and was willing to do whatever was necessary and do it well. I will miss her.

I can not put into words how sweet a person she was and a very big part of my life when I was working at Kearneys. She was always smiling. I will never forget her and all of the fun we had. You are all in my thoughs and prayers. She is in heaven looking down on use now.
