Daren Christopher Morrow was born to Thurston Morrow and Karen Witherspoon Morrow on April 14, 1969, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Daren passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 57, following a valiant battle with kidney cancer.
Daren is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Kristin Marie (Loewer) Morrow, whom he married on August 16, 2005. He leaves behind three children, Quintin Lee (16), Eliza Grace (15), and Wyatt Aaron (6). He is also survived by his parents, his brothers, Mike “Spoon” Witherspoon (Cyndi), Graydon Morrow, and Tyler Morrow, as well as a large, loving circle of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Daren worked at the Washington County Sale Barn before serving 20 years with the Washington County Sherriff’s Office in the jail, on patrol, and in the courthouse. After the Sheriff’s Office, Daren worked for the transportation department at the University of Arkansas for 5 years and delivered milk to local stores for Hiland Dairy since 2021.
Daren was known for his work ethic. In fact, his favorite thing to do was work. Farm chores of any kind were his favorite pastime, followed closely by Crappie fishing with his brother and his kids. He did his best to understand and encourage the individual dreams of each of his children, and be the solid rock his wife and children could lean on.
Daren’s greatest hope was that they would all accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and he made it a point to say so.
