Ervin Dwight Shafer
Age 78, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born March 6, 1944 in Mason, Texas, the son of Ervin E. and Thelma Madine (Jones) Shafer.
Dwight retired from the United States Navy as a Navy Pilot and later retired as a pilot for the United States Marshall Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Evelyn.
Survivors include his wife Helena Shafer; one step son James Bryan and his wife Audra; one step daughter Kimberley Darnell and her husband Dr. Michael Darnell; five grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
At Dwight's request there will be no public service held.
