Eugene "Gene" LaRue Dixon, 83, of Fayetteville, AR died, February 4th, 2014. He was born November 5th, 1930 in Culver City, CA.
He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph L. Dixon, mother, Grace U. Dixon, brother, W. Edward Dixon and stepmother, Irene B. Dixon.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda Kirwin Dixon, two children and their spouses, Charles "Chuck" and Sandy Dixon, Douglas and Martha Barraza and three grandchildren, Patrick Dixon, Lily Dixon and Lucia Barraza. He also leaves behind his sister, J. Laura Takuma of New Bradwell, England, UK.
He worked for IBM in NWA for over 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing and hunting, and helping others.
