Flossie Mae Mongold Jones
Age 95, a resident of West Fork, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born March 5, 1930 in Lee Creek, Arkansas, the daughter of Marion and Clarinda (Dickson) Mongold.
Flossie enjoyed her kids and grand kids. Keeping in touch with her extended family was always important to her. She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for all the kids and grand kids. She loved to have all her family and friends to come to visit her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Red Jones, one son Doyle Jones, three brothers Larnce, Floyd and Lloyd Mongold, and two granddaughters Amanda and Becky.
Survivors include five children Jim Jones and his wife BJ, Leonard Jones and his wife Imadean, Don Jones, Verna Day and her husband Donnie, Ronny Jones and his wife Glenda Sue; honorary daughter Maggie Fitzgerald; daughter-in-law Gail Jones; thirteen grandchildren Adam, Chris, Denise, Jacob, Randy, Josh, Jason, Kevin, Kim, Amy, Jennifer, Anthony and Owen; twenty six great grandchildren, twenty great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews;
She had four special people she talked to almost every day, Vernie, Mary, Katie and Sam.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Freedom Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
