Harrison Jean Davis, 86, of Summers, Arkansas, died on March 1, 2024, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale, Arkansas. He was born April 10, 1937, in Eminence, Missouri, to William McKinnley Davis, and Edith Mae (Dixon) Davis.
Harrison was the owner and operator of Harrison Davis Construction and is described as a jack of all trades. He was proud of his time he spent as the Deacon at Wedington Baptist Church, but after some years, stepped down from this position. Harrison spent the last several years as a member of the Summers Missionary Baptist Church. His work is what he enjoyed, from construction, to cattle farming, to doing the Lord’s work, spreading God’s Word.
He is preceded in death by both parents; his wife, Ruth Yvonne (Fusselman) Davis; brother, Alfred Davis; and sister, Yolanda Louise Gosnell.
Harrison is survived by his son, Tim Davis, of the home; brother, Herbert Dean Davis, of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Monday, March 4, 2024, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., at Wasson Funeral Home. His funeral will be Tuesday, March 5, 2024, 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Paul Young officiating, at Wasson Chapel, 441 Hwy 412, Siloam Springs. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Arkansas.
