Helen Pauline Anderson Cook
86, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior, and her beloved husband May 23, 2008 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born June 2, 1921 at Paris, Arkansas, the daughter of Clime and Frances Preston Anderson.
She was a member of the Durham Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Melvin Pete Cook, two daughters, Mary Frances Cook and Linda Darnell Cook; one sister, Eloise Clark.
Survivors include seven sons, Robert Earl Cook of Morrow, Arkansas, Melvin Leon Cook of Hydro, Oklahoma, Dwight Mitchell Cook of Madill, Oklahoma, William Hubert Cook of Creswell, Oregon, Roy Dale Cook of Madill, Oklahoma, Michael Joe Cook of Lincoln, Arkansas and John Wayne Cook of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two daughters, Joyce Karen McCaslin of Elkins, Arkansas and Brenda Ackley of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one step son, Kenneth Cook of West Fork, Arkansas; two step daughters, Ruby Reed and Lenora Warren both of Winslow, Arkansas; four brothers, James Reed of Brentwood, Arkansas, Kenneth Reed of Camel, Texas, Johnny Reed of Winslow, Arkansas and Charles Reed of Brentwood, Arkansas; two sisters, Lois Jean Donaldson of Winslow, Arkansas and Mary Frances Ross of Mountainburg, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, with John Shaffer and Larry Kendall officiating. Interment will be in the Coil Cemetery near Winslow, Arkansas, Wednesday, May 28, 2008 - 4:00 P.M.
Pallbearers will be her sons.
