James Raymond Alford

72 a resident of Hogeye, Arkansas, passed away September 16, 2010 at his home in Hogeye, Arkansas. He was born September 6, 1938 in Twin Falls, Idaho the son of Elmer and Agnes Bradshaw Alford.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Peggy Alford.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Norma Spurgin Alford of the home; two sons, Robert Alford of Hogeye, Arkansas and Patrick Windle of Cloverdale, Oregon; five daughters, Charlotte Bower of Wheeler, Illinois, Patricia Warford of Elkins, Arkansas, Pamela Windle of Hogeye, Arkansas, Katherine Usher of Hartly, Texas and Laura Kildow of Fayetteville, Arkansas; twenty one grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 20, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Luke George officiating. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 P.M. at the Round Mountain Cemetery near Elkins, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Circle of Life Hospice 901 Jones Rd. Springdale, Arkansas 72762.

Pallbearers will be: Bobby Kildow, Kenny Bower, Tim Richey, Jason Koch, Willis Warford Jr., Isayah Warford.

They say that you don't know what you have until you lost it, well that hurts worse. I don't have alot to remember, and it's not my fault. What I do remember is lopped eared rabbits, and wooden toys.One day I will see you again, and then we can do what we never did. Fish, camp, and teach me how to work with your hands that way you did. There are some pepole that had the chance to see him eveyday, but they didn't, they drove right pass. I wish I had more time to know him. But I will hold on tight to what I have, I might not ever let it go. I feel like part of me is missing.... It is MY GRANDPA!!!!! I will miss you , love Sheree Kay
