JD Hensley

Age 71, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born July 12, 1947 in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Jay and Christine (Barnes) Hensley.

JD retired from Ball Corp after 35 years of service. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, camping and fixing computers. He loved his wife and kids dearly. He was a hard working man, always willing to help his loved one with whatever they needed. He was a fighter and had battled with health problems for the past eight years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Dorothy.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years Sheila Hensley; two sons Scott Hensley and wife Amber of Lincoln and Jeff Hensley and wife Keeley of Springdale; three daugthers Loretta Brown of Anderson, Indiana, Amber Lynn Moss and husband William of West Fork and Lynne Brewer of Little Rock; twelve grandchildren Angel Brown, Donnie Brown, Cherish Barker, Ronnie Moss, Neigel Moss, Autumn Rae Moss, Adam Hensley, Andrew Hensley, Aaron Hensley, Alex Hensley, Day Lynn Hensley and Michael Hensley and eight great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 24, 2018, 6:00-7:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, August 25th, 2018, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Cox Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
