Lee Albert Kichline

The Love of my life, I met him at age 14ys/ We have kept in contact for 40yrs, with phone calls and cards, I loved his smile and his little snicker, and he always was good for a Dr Pepper, He will me missed very much, my prayers go out to the family.

I Loved this man, he was a great friend to me for so many years, We kept in touch for 40yrs, I loved his smile and and his little snicker he would make, always had a Dr Pepper with him, He will be deeply missed, My Prayers go out to the Family.

I remember Lee and the grin he always had. When he would leave he would always say "Catch you later". He will be missed

I feel bad because I didn't get to stay with unckle Lee as long as I wanted to. I know that I shouldn't think this way but I can't help it. I know that we are all sad but we'll see him soon. You've heard the phrase, "A life time goes by faster than you think," from your parents because I know I have. We all we'll be at the gates of Heaven some day so enjoy life starting today. I loved the way Lee would say, "What! or Later dude!" it cracked me up every time. And I really don' care how stubborn he was beacause he was a dadgum good uncle! I felt I needed to say some things about Lee that I remember. I have a few good memories of my Uncle Lee because he always seemed to not only take the road less traveled but it was the bumpy, rutted up gravel road to the side of it He was tough as nails and he would not have it any other way.

Lee came to stay with me and Dave Tuesday night before his doctor appointment Wednesday morning.What I remember most about that night was all the reminising fron the old days Lee did. He talked a lot about four-wheeling and when we used to go mudding. He said we used to have the best time. Dave just laughed because Lee kept telling him we used to tear it up. He even mentioned we should all get together and do it again. We all laughed and joked and talked for a long time.. He seemed so happy even though he did not feel good. He was in good spirits and laughing and joking.Me, Dave, and the girls sure enjoyed his company. Lee also got so tickled because Braylee called him Uncle Leaf.

Lee told me me how blessed we all have been and how lucky that all us kids turned out good. He also talked about his boys Chris and Curtis and how good they turned out. He said Regina did a good job with them. Lee also told me I have two good girls and to always take care of them.Lee was very fond of his granddaughter Sunshine and would tell me how Curtis would be chasing off the boys all the time because she is so beautiful. Lee talked a lot about Sunshine and even though she doesn't know it she was dearly loved by her grandpa Lee.

A few weeks ago when I took Lee to the doctor we were driving down 6th st and I noticed Chick-fil-a had a peach milkshake and I told Lee I had to hve one. he said yeah and I want a vanilla one. He told me that was the best milkshake he had ever had and the same for me. Wednesday morning he told me we had to get another milkshake when we got done with the doctor. I just wish I would have gotten one more chance to share one with him but I know his is waiting for me in a better place with a peach milkshake in one hand and a vanilla one in the other and we can pick up where we left off.

The last few weeks when I was with uncle Lee I would tell him I loved him just so he knew. He told me at my house the other day that he just couldn't say that he loved because it was hard to say but he did like me a lot. So after this I would still tell him I loved him and he would say I like you too. Finally the other night when I was leaving the hospital I once again said I love you and he said "okay, okay I love you like never before." I will cherish that forever!

I love you Uncle Lee and I will miss you a bunch

Larry, So sorry to hear of the loss of your brother Lee. It was definitely way too soon. I know how it is to lose a younger brother and it will definitely take time. My brother Randy will be gone 2 years in August. If you need someone to talk to just let me know.
