Levert E. Stringfellow (“Lee”), 77, of Farmington, Arkansas passed away February 8, 2024 after complications associated with a stroke.
Born October 28, 1946 in Shreveport, Louisiana and known for his infectious laugh and his commitment to living life his way. Lee dedicated his life to his business, Stringfellow and Associates, his family, and friends. He was known for surrounding himself with a crowd of friends and enjoyed having lively conversations. Lee was also a dedicated and loyal member of the Lincoln 615 Masonic Lodge in Lincoln, AR.
Lee is survived by his beloved son, Brian E. Stringfellow (Julieanne), and his grandchildren, Chambers, Caitlyn, and Cannon Stringfellow. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph W. Stringfellow (Angelia), his niece, Ashley S. Murphy, his great niece and nephew, Kelly Murphy and Cole Murphy, as well as his most trustworthy confidants and highly respected business associates, James “JB” Williams and Steve White. Additionally, Lee had lifelong friendships with Andy Nichols and Joe Watson, and was like a grandfather to Jansen Williams, and had many longtime friends in the Fayetteville, Farmington, Prairie Grove, and Lincoln area. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anna Louise Johnson, his father, Charles Chambers Stringfellow, his stepfather, Cass D. Johnson, his aunt, Sydney E. Love, and his uncles, E.J. and Edward L. Coen.
Lee graduated high school at the age of 16 from Jefferson Military Academy and later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University. He proudly served in the US Navy as a submariner on the USS Greenfish Submarine and was a member of the Navy’s marksmanship team.
In his professional life, Lee was the founder of Stringfellow and Associates in Farmington, AR. Outside of work, he had a variety of hobbies, including collecting guns and knives, dove hunting, watching spaghetti westerns and old wartime films, and cheering on the LSU Fighting Tigers football team. Lee also cherished spending time with his son and visiting his grandchildren in Florida. As a loyal and dedicated member of the Masonic Fraternity, Lee embraced the duties and responsibilities as a Grand Commander of Knights Templar of Arkansas (2011); he was also a member of the Red Cross of Constantine, Allied Masonic Degrees, Scottish Rite, Far West Chapter #1, Paul Bush Council #80, Baldwin Commandery #4, Lincoln Lodge #615, Occidental Lodge #435, Washington #1, and the Caddo Lodge #179 in Shreveport, La., which is a list of his most cherished memberships.
A memorial service for Lee will be held on February 17, 2024, at Luginbuel Funeral Home, located at 115 N Neal Prairie Grove, AR 72753. The family will receive visitors at 10:00 am for a one hour viewing before the 11:00 am memorial service.
