Lockie Bowen

To all of Locke's family: Everytime I seen Locke she was enjoying life. She was a very special person and I know has touched the hearts of many, including ours . I don't ever remember seeing Locke without a smile on her face. She not only made us feel like special friends, but like family. I send you our deepest sympathy and prayers. May your memories of Locke bring smiles to your faces. She will be missed greatly.

I am so sorry to hear of you loss. Lockie was a bright soul! I always enjoyed seeing her smiling face!

So many of my sweet childhood memories were tied to time with Lockie, and her home. There was always monkey bread on the table and fresh tea with plenty of sugar in the sugar bowl. She let me pick fresh flowers from her garden and apples from her tree on my way to the bus stop. She did more than love me, she treated me like her own grandchild. That is until you jokers would come for a visit;). Then I was rightly put in my place as neighbor, though I still enjoyed several dance parties in her kitchen with you all. This isn't about me, it's about her, and how she made me, and so many like me, feel. She lit up our little world. She loved so so well. Thanks for sharing her with me. I'm praying for your peace and comfort as you grieve and continue loving this precious woman. I'm sure she's dancing!

I will always cherish time spent around this great lady. We used to go to Highland Church Community Center each Month for fellowship with friends. We enjoyed lots of good food and fellowship. Many a good Yahoo and Domino games. My prayers are with the family.

It was a pleasure getting to know Mrs. Bowen just briefly in the last year. My sincerest sympathy to the family of this great woman.

Our deepest sympathies to all of Aunt Lockie's dear children, my Cousins. We are so sorry for your loss.

Your solace will surely come from knowing how much she was loved by all, and from your won special memories of her. We have so many memories of Aunt Lockie throughout the years that will continue to be an important part of our lives. She was always so joyful to see us and always made us feel so special. She loved us unconditionally throughout our lives.

Her generosity and graciousness came from the heart, and they were constant. We will miss that warmth in our lives. But we will cherish the memories of so many special times that we had in her company.

Lockie was a very special lady. We have very fond memories of the special times we spent with her and Charles and their family over the years. She will truly be missed! Go rest high on the mountain, Lockie!

Lockie was my one and only Mother-In-Law. She taught me many things over the course of several years. I loved her more than words can say. May The Comforter, Himself, come upon the family and friends of my precious Lockie! To Chuck, Tim, Kebra, Aaron, Aleesa, Courtney, Mykah, Brendan, Bella, Brantley, Chase & Jayna - may you always hold dear the memories of our "Pink Grandma"!

To all of Lockie's family,

Lockie was such an inspiration to Gary & me. We met Lockie at the Moose in Springdale and can only hope that we can go to the Moose and places like that into our nineties.

Lockie always had a smile and kind words to share. We will miss seeing and chatting with her.
