Maria Teresa Dayberry

Age 85, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at her home. She was born May 15, 1938 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico, the daughter of Francisco and Dolores (Segura) Valdez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Henry Dayberry, and seven brothers and sisters.

Survivors include two sons John Dayberry and Thomas Dayberry and his wife Shelly; seven grandchildren Brittany, Emily, Nicole, Tiana, Janie, Dylan and Alex; two great grandchildren Ryder and Adalyn; three brothers Fernando Valdez, Zenon Valdez, and Angel Valdez; three sisters Blanca Napoles, Cissy Torres, and Martha Flores; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, burial will follow in the Summers Cemetery.

I am so sad to know that Maria is no longer with us. I do know she is in her heavenly home. I got acquainted with Maria at the Lincoln Sr Center. She got to come to my home once with a few other friends for lunch one day. We all enjoyed being together. Prayers for her family at this sad time. Maria had such a sweet personality.
