Paul B. Hartwick Jr.

76 a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord on October 8, 2010 at his home in the Fly Creek Community, Arkansas. He was born December 22, 1933 in Augusta, Arkansas, the son of Paul B. and Winette Foster Hartwick Sr.

Paul attended school in Augusta, Arkansas. His family moved to Shamrock, Texas where he graduated high school. He married Charoline Jackson on July 26, 1953. The couple moved to Jeanerette, Louisiana and had three children and stayed there 12 years. Paul always wanted to move back to Arkansas, so they moved to Heber Springs in 1967. They lived there until 1974 and moved to Lincoln, where he and Charoline bought a farm and in 2006 they sold the farm and retired.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny Floyd Hartwick.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Iva Charoline Jackson Hartwick of the home; two sons, Johnnie Lee Hartwick and his wife, Martha of Garfield, Arkansas and LeNoal Ray Hartwick and his wife, Ginger of Little Rock, Arkansas; one daughter, Paula Maurine Haegele and her husband, Rick of Lincoln, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Sara Hartwick Bullock and her husband, Robbie, Luke, Kate and Clint Haegele; one great grandchild, Vivan Bullock.

We are so sorry to hear the news of Paul Jr. passing. I know it has been a long period of bad health with his kidneys failing. We only got the news on Sunday afternoon and will not be able to attend the funeral. We will be mailing a memorial to the Circle of Life Hospice.
