Sandra Sue Blackford

69, a resident of Lincoln, passed away January 4, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born November 1, 1944 at Poteau, Oklahoma, the daughter of J.R. and Lucille Shelton Black.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Blackford; one brother, Ladelle and two sisters, Doris and Carol.

Survivors include one son, Teddy French and wife Karen and one daughter Valerie Waldrop and husband John all of Lincoln; three sisters, Diane, Linda, and Dorothy; four grand children, Rebecca Lamb, Chris French, Johnny Ray Waldrop, and Landon Waldrop; four great-grandchildren, Izaak Lamb, Kaitlyn Lamb, Chance French and Jett French.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 9, 2014 - 3:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with Jerry Mizel officiating. Burial will be at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. No graveside services will be held at the Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Senior Center (Meals On Wheels)

I was saddened to hear about Sandra's passing. She was a wonderful person who loved her family especially her grandchildren. I know her family will miss her greatly but Sandra has made it home, I will cherish the many memories I have of her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family..
