Shelly Anne Smith

1972 — 2026
Obituary

Shelly Anne Smith passed away on April 9, 2026, surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Shelly was known for her strong will and resilient spirit, facing life’s challenges with determination and grace. At the center of her life was her deep love for Jesus Christ, which guided her actions and gave her peace, even in difficult moments. Her faith was not only something she believed, but something she lived through her kindness, her compassion, and the way she loved others so dearly.

She had a sensitive and caring heart, always putting others before herself and offering comfort, encouragement, and understanding.  Shelly’s love extended to everyone she encountered, making each person feel valued and supported.

For over 25 years, Shelly was a dedicated member of her Morgan Stanley family, where she built not only a career but lasting relationships. She was respected for her commitment, admired for her work ethic, and appreciated for the genuine care she showed to colleagues and clients alike.

Shelly now rests in the presence of the Lord she loved so deeply, reunited in peace and surrounded by eternal light. Though she will be deeply missed here, her family and friends find comfort in knowing she is home in Heaven.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Temple Baptist Church in Springdale, Arkansas at 1:30 PM. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM and will be officiated by Pastor Keith Buttram, her longtime friend.

Primary Pallbearers: Grant Bartholomew, Bryan Hanna, Patrick Kelley, Ross Larwood, Spencer O’Rourke, Eric Sales, Tad Davis.

Shelly’s memory will live on through the many lives she touched with her generosity, love, and enduring faith. She will be forever remembered. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be given to your favorite charity in her name.

Steve· Client at Morgan StanleyApr 17, 2026

I was shocked and sadden hearing the news of Shelly's passing. I only knew her from interaction with Shelly when calling into Morgan Stanley or on a couple of occasions when I talked with her in person. She was always helpful and very pleasant to talk to whenever I need information or something to be done. Shelly was just a very nice person.
