Obituary
Velma Jewel Thornsberry, age 91, of Springdale, died Monday, January 12, 2015 in Springdale. She was born December 1, 1923 in St. Paul, Arkansas, the daughter of Paul Rob and Stella Faubus Vanbrunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley Thornsberry.
She was a self-employed drapery maker.
She is survived by two grandsons, Shawn Lewis and Donny Lewis, both of Fayetteville; a great-granddaughter, Summer Lewis of Springdale and a sister, Alena Taylor of Canehill; son-in-law, Charles Lewis of Fayetteville.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Moores Chapel in Fayetteville.
