Wanda June McDowell

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Wanda. We were friends for many years. I here’s hoping you find comfort in knowing that people cared about her during her lifetime and have best wishes for your comfort and sorrow at this time Carolyn Latta Bartholomew.

Grateful for all memories with my beautiful red haired cousin Wanda! Making roads in the dirt at the little house in Prairie Grove building garages out of rocks and sticks for our little cars, feeding our ochra to the dog from our dinner when your mom wasn't looking! And taking a bath together in the metal tub...been playing Que Sera Sera and remembering us singing that song together while listening to Doris Day on the car radio while Aunt Fern drove us somewhere. Playing kick the can, catching lightening bugs and swatting June bugs at grandma's house...you getting bucked off the horse we tried to ride at Harold and Ruth's and I laughed at first till I realized it wasn't funny.. As we grew older we had some good times talking together about hard moments in our lives, sharing some heartfelt moments..thanks so much for your love and kindness to me...happy you are at peace, God blessed us all with you in our lives?
