Stephen Joe Roach
Obituary
Stephen J. “Steve” Roach
Age 71, a resident of Morrow, Arkansas, passed away on November 7, 2025 at his home.
Steve is survived by his daughter Larrissa Huff, his son Steve Roach II and his wife Jodi Redfeather, four grandchildren Haley Blasingame, Dustin Fletcher, Sara Redfeather and Tara Redfeather, six great grandchildren, his sister Pauline Bumgarner and brothers Bill Roach and Bobby Roach, his ex-wife Darlene Roach, and close personal friend Charlene Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Mayda Roach, brothers Ed Roach and Randy Roach.
Steve was a proud veteran having served in the United States Army and a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He admired classic cars, from the complicated engines to the intricate paint work, made a living as an auto body repairman and helped to build or paint several off-road rigs. As an outdoor enthusiast, it was rare to find him in the house, but if you did, he was probably watching an old western or mountain man movie. He much preferred trail riding, hunting, fishing, and cooking on the grill for friends and family.
Many nights were spent at back porch concerts listening to Haley sing or someone picking on a guitar. Like gravity, friends were drawn to his welcoming, easygoing nature, unique words of wisdom and sense of humor. His place was always where people would regularly gather together becoming known as the Friday Night Intelligence Center where a lively discussion was always in full swing and you could hear the laughter before you ever opened the door. WOW! Just wow.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.

For as long as I live, I’ll keep singing for you. I hope you’re still listening. I love you to the ends of the earth and back, old man.

Your warm smile, jolly laughs, sarcasm, and genuineness will be greatly missed. I will forever cherish the memories I have with you. Rest in peace old friend. --Amanda "Jane" & Macey

I will surely miss big brother, I always loved getting to see you and visiting you. I still remember back when you used to come to our house and I would peek out of the window and laugh and tease you. You will be missed very much. Rest high in peace my friend
Paula Collins - Ex sister in law

You were such a blessing and will always hold a special place in my heart.
To Larissa and Stevie and Jodi, Sara and Tara, Hailey and Dustin and all the members of the Hilltop intelligence center… I’m so incredibly sorry for this great loss and I pray for healing and peace for all of you and I hope you can find comfort and celebrate his life
