Avis Ruth Hutchison

Mrs.Ruth Rankin,66,died in a Lawrence hospital.

She was a traffic clerk for Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. before she retired.

She was instrumental in organizing historical material about the Big Springs community."Actually she is the one that started our Family Book,I am trying to keep it going"Thanks for all the info Great Aunt Ruth from Karen.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church;Ramona Chapter No431;Order of Eastern Star;Telephone Pioneers of America and AOTTO a telephone operators organization.

She was married to Marcus J Rankin in Topeka 43 years ago. He survives.
