Barbara Ann Beeks

Age 57 a resident of Farmington passed away November 3, 2016. She was born December 5, 1958 in Fayetteville the daughter of Willard Ervan and Ella Rhea Robinson Beeks.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include one brother Carl Beeks and his daughters Ashley Beeks and Baleigh Beeks all of Farmington; one step brother Willard Beeks of Summers and one step sister Thelma Gray of Elm Grove, Louisiana and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held Friday November 11, 2016 10:00 A.M. Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial was in Rose Cemetery.

Barbara and I used to work different shifts, so we were both at Kearney for several years before we really knew each other. I transferred to day shift around 1990 and that was about the same time that she had her first surgery. I'll never forget the day that she came to visit after her surgery. All production in the front half of the building stopped and everyone came over to see her. I knew then that she was a very special person. I still have a peace lily that she gave me 18 years ago. I will never forget her smile and will cherish her memory.

I'm sad to say that our neighborhood just lost its kindest resident. I know you were getting weary and had to go, but I will surely miss you Barb! And I know for sure that Thelma and Louise will be lost without you. I'll look forward to seeing you on "the other side".
