So many fond childhood memories I have of traveling far to to to family reunions. Aunt Beverly always had hugs and kind words for me. I remember all the laughter and singing and my silly aunts and mother doing skits and telling stories. Rest in peace, dear Aunt Beverly.

We Barkers have truly lost one of our most precious. My sister-in-law Beverly was a wonderful dear sweet woman. She and my brother Jack were truly made for each other. I can still see my brother Jack laughing and hugging her and making some remark that made her laugh. They were a wonderful pair, and raised a wonderful bunch of children. There are just no people like the Barker clan. And Bev was right at the top of the heap as a beautiful person. Oh we all loved her so much. And we will always remember the part she has played in our lives.

Dear Family,

I've been filled with memories of family times together these last few days. I remember that Aunt Bev was always quietly in the middle of our activities. I can still hear her calling to "come here, go there, pick up this, stop mess'in around, and it's time to eat." I will never forget her famous pancake breakfasts. I didn't know that it was possible to stack pancakes so high but I guess with a family as large as yours, it was common. After my mom died she pulled me aside and told me what a lovely, sweet woman she was. I've never forgotten that. Aunt Bev was one of my "heroines." I loved her spirit and steadfast strength. I will miss her. Love to each of you, Cousin Susan

You were the best grandma any child could have ask for. I know you are strolling down the streets of gold in heaven hand and hand with grandpa. We will miss you but know that you are in a better place. Give grandpa a hug for me. Tell him I love him and I will see you both again one day in the future.
