Clara Mae Cavett Cuzick

Age 91, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born November 25, 1930 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the youngest child of James Polson and Audie (Clark) Cavett.

Clara Mae was an active member of the Central United Methodist Church in Lincoln, Arkansas when her health allowed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Vinace Melvin "Skeet" Cuzick, two sons Melvin Lee Cuzick and Mark A. Cuzick, one granddaughter and one grandson, three sisters Mary Brock, Betty Waite, and Mattie Pettit, and two brothers Preston and Raymond Cavett.

Survivors include her daughter-in-law Mary Jane Cuzick; four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews as well as many good friends and neighbors.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 5, 2022, 5:00-7:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, January 6th, 2022, at Central United Methodist Church in Lincoln, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Edmiston Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services.

Memorials may be made to the Central United Methodist Church or your favorite charity.

We were so saddened to hear of Clara Mae’s passing away. I have such wonderful memories of our school years together and playing basketball at PG. We always enjoyed visiting over the years and I’ll miss our chats. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
