Darrell Ray Rector
78, a resident of Lincoln, passed away April 19, 2014 at his home in Lincoln. He was born August 15, 1935 Hawkerville, Oklahoma, the son of Carl and Leddie Eubanks Rector.
Darrell wrote a poem that was recognized by president Richard Nixon and all the Apollo II. He completed Police training in 1971and worked for Cal-Maine Foods for twenty years.
He was preceded in death by his wife Erma Carolyn Rector, one son Darrell Glenn Rector, and one sister Carlene Cousins.
Survivors include four sons, Carl Leon Rector of Lincoln, Ottis Dale Rector of Neosho, Missouri, Douglas Gene Smith of San Antonio, Texas, Tim Scholar of Springdale two daughters, Debbbie Lease Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Terri Boles of Omaha, Nebraska; two brothers, Arvin Rector of Gentry and Alvin Rector of Springdale; one sister, Lavern Roberts of Arizona;
serveral grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held May 3, 2014 - 2:00 P.M. at Saved By Grace Church 2535 Old Wire Rd Springdale, Arkansas.
