Derral R. Carte
61 a resident of Hattieville, Arkansas, passed away March 3, 2008 at Morrilton, Arkansas. He was born August 9, 1946 at Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of Lester and Lois Ester Hodges Carte.
Derral liked to hunt, fish, and garden. He worked at sawmills for most of his life. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Harlas Carte.
Survivors include his wife, Rita Gunderman Carte of the home, two sons, Temple Coffindecker of Tennessee; and Ted Carte of California; one daughter, Angela Carte of California; one sister Cleta Sommers of Jerusalem, Arkansas; four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 7, 2008 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel Prairie in Grove, Arkansas, with Jack Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the Garrett Creek Cemetery Cove Creek, Arkansas.
