I will miss my little brother very much but I know in my heart the he is in heaven and probably pulling pranks on all the other angels. He was taken away from the rest of the bottoms bunch as a small child but my Aunt Bernice never kept them from us and we love her for that. She always included us in thier life as much as she could and she always came to our family afairs. Thanks Don for being My Little Brother I am glad that I got home before his demise. I love Jean like a sister and I hold her pain in my heart and hope that she will always remember thier good times together. I hope that Hanah will always remember Her Daddy and keep her memories in her heart. He was so proud of all his kids and loved them very very much.

I am so sorry for your great loss. It was always a treat when my Don and I would run into the three of you at Denny's on a weekend morning. One of the last times we were all there, (my) Don said, "I don't remember them, but he must know me - he smiled when he said Hello." Rest now, take care of yourselves. I know you will smile again - it's going to be too hard NOT to smile when you remember your life together.

Don was a very special person. He always tried to help you if you needed it. He never tried to be someone he wasn't. He did like to play a joke on a person. The first time i went to the deer woods with the gang it had rained and rained it was during muzzle loading and i was outside for the first time sitting by the fire and don and tom where messing with their guns and all of a sudden they came running to the fire with a huge hand full of gun powder and they threw it on the fire and hollered its going to blow so i jumped up and took off running through the mud puddles and chairs.i have never ran so fast and they both go at the same time "me makem big smoke" i could have strangled them and here i am wet and muddy and they are just laughing their heads off. you never knew what to expect with don i know i will miss my friend. i want his family to know that our prayers are with them and if there is anything we can do please ask. we owe him so much. and he would never ask for anything. there are so many stories that we all have with don but this one is one of my favorites. everyone who knew him is feeling a great loss.
