Eugene Meadors
72 a resident of Winslow, Arkansas passed away November 9, 2014 at his home. He was born February 11, 1942 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Joe and Clarine Bradley Meadors.
Eugene was a successful farmer and contractor and business owner for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by one son David Meadors, two grandchildren Rowdy Eugene Meadors and Heath Dwain Meadors, his parents, one sister Shannon Meadors and two brothers Roger Meadors and Ed Meadors.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years Anita Foster Meadors; four sons Bobby Meadors, Randall Meadors and wife Deborah, Jason Meadors and wife Christy and Jeff Meadors and wife Jessica all of Winslow, Arkansas; three daughters Marla Meadors and Anitra Eddings both of Winslow, Arkansas and April Carothers and husband Jonathan of West Fork, Arkansas; two brothers Fred Meadors and Roy Meadors both of Farmington, Arkansas; four sisters Josephine McGaugh of West Fork, Arkansas, Winnie Carmean and Laura Price both of Springdale, Arkansas and Peggy Comley of Centerton, Arkansas; twenty three grandchildren Brandy Carte, Cody Meadors, Hali Meadors, Jaqueline Meadors, Tasha Fitzgerald, Krisha Meadors, Kylie Meadors, Kendra Woodlee, Kaitlyn Meadors, Ruben Meadors, Lillian Meadors, Jesse Meadors, Grannville Meadors, Fletcher Smith, Chelsea Kiefhaber, Hunter Eddings, Weldon Eddings, Lyle Meadors, Swiston Meadors, Wiley Meadors, Adriana Carothers, Alicia Carothers, Evan Carothers with two additional grandchildren on the way; six great grandchildren Alisyn Carte, Caleb Carte, Anakein Smith, Alex Kiefhaber, Tegan Howard, Iley Howard and one great grandchild on the way; and last but not least his best friend Cookie.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 13, 2014 - 1:00 P.M. at Kenney Cemetery in Frog, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be: Bob Meadors, Randall Meadors, Jason Meadors, Jeff Meadors, Ruben Meadors, and Hunter Eddings
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Cody Meadors, Lyle Meadors, Evan Carothers, Jesse Meadors, Weldon Eddings, Grannville Meadors, Wiley Meadors and Caleb Carte.
