F. "Lorean" Cunningham

82, a resident of West Fork, Arkansas, and former resident of Prairie Grove and the Strickler Community, passed away January 14, 2007 at her home in West Fork. She was born February 8, 1924 Oilton, Oklahoma, the daughter of William Bill and Peninah Brown Alsup.

Lorean was a member of the Assembly of God Church in West Fork. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford Ake and Jack Cunningham; one son, Clifford C.D. Ake; one brother, Elmer Alsup.

Survivors include one son, Russel Ake of West Fork, Arkansas; one daughter, Kathern K. Cooksey of West Fork, Arkansas; one step son, Jack Cunningham of West Fork, Arkansas; two step daughter, Janet Unruh of Yukon, Oklahoma, and Margaret Ferguson of Owasso, Oklahoma; her step mother, Gracie Alsup of Okemah, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren, Tina Headrick, Teresa Genz, Vicki Barron, Lance Cooksey, Angela Slape, Dawn Barron, Nolan Ake, Ryan Dubois and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2007 - 2:00 P.M. at the Assembly of God Church in West Fork, Arkansas with Dr. Jerry Holt and George Boatright officiating. Burial will follow in the Bug Scuffle Cemetery near Strickler, Arkansas.

We want to say that lorean was a very special lady. she has been a very good friend of the brown family for years.she was one of a kind. we all loved her and the way she would make us laugh with her stories. she is the most strongest lady we have ever known.she was a very caring and loving lady whom we will miss greatly! our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. always remember your special times together and cherish them in your heart forever. god bless
