Floyd Ray Icenogle

Age 84 a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away November 15, 2016 at his home. He was born December 21, 1931 in Cane Hill, the son of Ray and Neta Tyree Icenogle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers J P and Mack Icenogle and two sisters Mary Belle Icenogle Calico and Betty Fay Icenogle.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years Mary Evelyn Icenogle; two daughters, Micki Darlene Orian and husband Stephen of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Paula Thomas and husband David of Prairie Grove; four grandchildren Benjamin Orian and wife Silvia of Tacoma, Washington, Matthew Orian and wife Nicole of Lincoln, Nebraska, Krystal Balducci and husband Sean of Mansfield, Texas, and Lacey Thomas of Carlsbad, New Mexico; five great grandchildren Dominic, Siena, Jacob, Hailey, and Madison Orian; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Thursday November 17, 2016 10:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Sharp Cemetery, there will be no graveside service.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: James "Red" Sturdy, James Barnett, George Hyler, Ricky Long, David Houston Sr. and H B Hutchens.

My sincere sympathies at Floyd's passing. He was our bus driver many years ago and was loved and respected (then and now). Was in Prairie Grove last weekend, drove by the house and affectionately remembered those days and thought about him. May God bless and keep you during this time.

floyd was a good friend and neighbor very helpfull in every way . .i will miss seeing him sitting on the front porch when I drive by always wavering and always a good conversation when I would stop and visit.
