George W. Dobbs
80, a resident of Federal Way, Washington, and Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away on April 20, 2006. He was born to Charles and Edna Cox Dobbs in Odell, Arkansas, on May 14, 1925.
He was a United States Army Veteran and served our country in the South Pacific-Asiatic Theater of Operations during World War II. He was a timberman as well as a real estate broker, a member of the V.F.W., and the American Legion.
In 1951 he was preceded in death by an infant son, Harold Glen Dobbs.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Mildred Dobbs of the home, one son, Daniel Dobbs and his wife Eileen of Federal Way, Washington, one daughter Gloria Dobbs of Missoula, Montana, two brothers Mitchell Dobbs and his wife Betty, and Gerald “Ray” Dobbs and his wife Florence, all of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, one sister, Geneva Collins, several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday September 16, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Shady Grove Cemetery at Odell, Arkansas.
