Ginger Elaine Farmer

52, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away May 27, 2007 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 19, 1954 at Garberville, California, the daughter of Ward and Geneva Dobbs Collins.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Farmer Jr. "Tiger,” her Father, and one brother, Harry Collins.

Survivors include one son, Rusty Farmer of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her mother, Geneva Collins of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one brother, Charles Collins Jr. of Sunray, Texas and one sister, Hilda Mae Scism Prairie Grove, Arkansas; one granddaughter Cynthia Farmer.

The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m at the Luginbuel Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 - 10:00 A.M. at the New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church near Prairie Grove, Arkansas, with James Hammonds, Bobby Dobbs, and Dwane Scism officiating. Burial will be in the Reese Cemetery near Clyde, Arkansas.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ginger Farmer Memorial fund in care of any Arvest Bank.

I haven't seen Ginger in many years, but when Vicki sent me the news, my mind quickly returned to 12 years of school together. I never knew anyone with a more cheerful and loving disposition. I am so very sorry to hear of Ginger's passing. I had not seen her since the 70's but have never forgotten her constant smile and endearing personality. The world will be a much sadder place without her but heaven will be much sweeter.
